Jojo's 2005

Jojo actually had a very good year. Started working on the choppers and never regretted it. Feels like everyday i'm living my dreams. Love it. As boring as my life seems to be according to everyone else, I think I'm enjoying it too much!!~

A very injured baby. Wot a Jojo day.

The heli baby was on her way to Hover Dynamics Maintenance for a slight skin repair due to the owner's hard landing. She was delivered by Mark's towing Services. The driver of the truck decided to drive so bloody fast that it almost killed our engineers who were on the truck directing the driver where to go when the truck reached our airport. The engineers both ran for their lives when the helicopter's main rotor caught the electric poles and was pulled off the truck. Byebye Million dollars helicopter.

Jojo's dream horse!

She's the most beautiful brown horse Jojo's ever came across. Everytime I see her, she comes and greets me. She's never too far away, always in Jojo's heart.

Passion is everywhere in Jojo!~

Just pictures of the Jojo... I'm checking the medical kit in the helicopter, feels good, feels like I'm closer and closer to my flight paramedic dream. Sleeping Jojo on the heli skid, I know it looks extremely uncomfortable, but no, it's actually so comfy that I fell asleep. I love being close to my helicopters. Ambulance toys I have more than 10 of them in my room, collected them since I was 12 years old. Memories!

A picture says it all. A picture that made my night. One of the best ice cream nights I've ever had. The menlyn milky lane crew makes the best coke float and gives the best smile ever.

Hey.... It's Sybrand's birthday today! Guess who turned 28!~ Sleepy head, just like Jojo. Me and Sybrand has known eachother for 6 years! Gonna celebrate b-day with him tomorrow.

ZS-RXT's first take off in South Africa!

The Hover Team that build ZS-RXT!~ Pitty she's just a little Robinson R44, so the engineers are all blocking the poor machine. She's only 4 flight hours old. Very young girl. But hell, powerful like anything! I was only getting the legal papers together for the Civil Aviation Authority so that the machine can fly.

The girls with the magic powers over Jojo!!! U have Netcare 911's "Bravo Alpha 4" from Randfontein Base, the best base with the most special medic crews and on the other hand u have our Netcare 911's I.C.U Vehicle which is equipped with Advance Life Support supplies and medical skills onboard!

My first paid shift as a Basic Life Support Medic!

There is me, working for ER24 for the first time of my life. Also getting paid as a medic for the first time. Since I have been volunteering for Netcare 911 for 3 years. I wasn't getting any money for the time nor the petrol spent on the shifts. But very mentally rewarding job though.

This my favourite helicopter in the whole wide world! Netcare 2. She doesn't just fly for the pleasure of flying, she transports life-threatened patients and great doctors & Paramedics. Seems like everyone Jojo goes, Netcare 2 follows. I was at Lanseria Airport, She was maintained by Europcopter, but when I started working in Grand Central, she's right here with me. Wot a beauty. She's a very powerful machine that can keep a Jojo happy. If I sit next to her, it feels like nothing in the world will scare me. Hug the Netcare 2! Beautiful Eurocopter EC-135!

Our Hangar Queen at Hover dynamics Maintenance. Extremely powerful lady. Can't describe the passion I have for the flying machines. The way I put my hands on the cold metal, I could talk to them on some level. People think I'm mad, but Gosh, I'm way too addicted to them. Hover baby, hover.
